Women of St. Chrysostom’s

The Women of St. Chrysostom's was formed to stimulate growth in Christian faith, to extend Christian outreach and to provide camaraderie among members through programs centered on the riches of the spirit and the world around us. They hold regular charity events and meetings and welcomes women of all ages to join.

October 4, 2011 (Tuesday) "The Power of Your Possessions: Rugs, Jewelry, Fine and Decorative and Fine Arts, Books and Photographs" Main Floor at St. Chrysostom's, 5-8:30 p.m. Cost: $50 includes coffee, wine, hors d'oeuvres, appraiser's talk, plus one appraisal. Hon. Chair Pamela Pierrepont Bardo, ASA, AAA. Chrm: Andrea Hosbein and Colleen Kamin.

October 18, 2011 (Tuesday) Decorate hats for Christmas stockings. Guild Room, 9 a.m.-12 noon. No charge. Chrm: Sherri Wick and Pam Marks.

November 16, 2011 (Wednesday) Stocking Stuffer Part I. St. Chrysostom's Church, 11:45 a.m. No charge. We join the monthly Day School chapel service when the students, their parents and WOSC bring items for Christmas stockings. Lunch in the gymnasium follows the brief chapel service. December 4, 2011 (Sunday) Bake Sale and Book Sale with Re-gifting Holiday Market. Harding Room, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Chrm Book Sale: Sara Clary; Chrm Bake Sale: Lynn Evans; Chrm Re-gifting: Annie Brown. Volunteers needed Saturday and Sunday.

December 7, 2011 (Wednesday) Stocking Stuffer Part II. 12 noon - 3 p.m. No charge. Luncheon in the Guild Room, stocking stuffing in Harding Room. Chrm: Sherri Wick, Katie Benson, and Katie Heaton.

January 23, 2012 (Monday) Monday Night at the Movies. 6:30 p.m. Movie (to be announced) will shown in the Guild Room. Popcorn, dessert, and discussion. Cost: $10. Chrm: Judy Langendorff.

February 7, 2012 (Tuesday) Winter Luncheon at the home of Pam Marks (1258 State Parkway), 11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Cost: $20. Speaker: Rev. Danielle Thompson "Journaling as a Spiritual Practice."

March 6, 2012 (Tuesday) Lenten Breakfast. Guild Room, 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Cost: $15. Speaker: Rev. Jule Nyhuis. Chrm: Beth Kost.

April 27-28, 2012 (Friday and Saturday) Spring Tag Sale. Preview Party April 27, 7 p.m. (cost $20). Tag sale will be conducted Friday evening 7-9:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Chrm: Pam Marks, Colleen Kamin, Katie Heaton and Kristin Quinn.
