St. Chrysostom's involvement in the work of the church outside our own parish community is varied and broad. Our work touches many different groups through financial support and the time of our member-volunteers.

In recent years St. Chrysostom's has supported Cathedral Shelter through financial contributions and gifts-in-kind, most notably the Christmas basket project which reached a record of 100 baskets contributed in 2006.

Cooking for Deborah's Place, a once-a-month commitment, provides meals for a program designed to help women become independent.

Our Neighbors in Need program provides a home-cooked meal served in the Harding Room once a month for a small group of less fortunate people in our neighborhood.

The bi-annual parish brunch-auction for mission raises funds to support various mission projects around the world.

The Employment Council meets every Monday at the church to assist members and nonmembers in job or career transition.

Mission Statement
