Dear Fellow Parishioners,

You will by now have received a number of important communications by email, snail mail and the Sunday service paper about the fabulous festivities to honor Ray and Eve Webster on Sunday, February 26.

Here is what is being planned

Ø  Act 1:  Only one service today at 11:00 a.m. We hope everyone will attend from babes in arms to our most venerable members.

Ø  Act II:  A luncheon will follow in the Harding Room and Gym.

It will include a child’s menu. Part of the gym will still be open for play. There is no charge for the lunch but we need to know how many people will be attending

Ø  The Rev. Amy Richter and other guest celebrities will be speaking

Ø  Act III:  A concert in the church by Richard Hoskins, Roger Stanley and members of the choir

Ø  Childcare will be available from 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please let us know if you plan to use childcare for any part of the time.

Ø  Please come for one, two or all three parts of the festivities

What are we asking you to do:

Ø  It will not be a true celebration of Ray’s 19 years of ministry without as many parishioners as possible attending. PUT IT IN YOUR CALENDAR

Ø  SIGN UP for the luncheon – are we feeding the five or the five thousand ?  Please call Audrey at the Parish Office (312) 944-1083  or email her at Audrey@saintc.org  Also tell her if you will be using childcare.

Ø  BRING A BEAUTIFUL DESSERT.   St. Chrys has an abundance of great cooks (or smart shoppers). Let us know if you want to participate in this part of the feast.  Contact: Alice Moss  alice.moss@sbcglobal.net 

Desserts should be delivered if possible on Saturday Feb. 25 between 10 a.m. and 2.00 p.m

Ø  PHOTOS AND STORIES

o   Weddings and Baptisms: Did Ray marry you or christen your baby ?

o   Were you confirmed during Ray’s tenure as Rector ?

o   Other stories/photos of Ray and Eve’s years at St. Chrys are welcome too.

Send a PHOTO (with identification) to be included in the book of St. Chrys Memories  for Ray and Eve to Roger Stanley at the church office, 1424 N. Dearborn Chicago 60610 by February 15 or email to roger@saintc.org
