Day School

The Church's Day School is an Episcopal pre-school for children ages two through five. It is one of the Church's best outreach programs to the community, providing excellent education combined with the Episcopal Church's inclusive spiritual grounding that all people are created in God's image. Emphasis is on the development of the whole child. As a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES), St. Chrys' Day School values the four core values of Episcopal schools: School Worship, Community Life, Religious Formation, and Social Justice.

Established in 1974, the Day School has six programs that are geared to six different age groups for children from 22 months to four years old. The programs range from Parent and Tot to Preschool through a half day Junior Kindergarten, enrolling 210 children. The high quality of teaching is rare and treasured. Day School teachers are college graduates, often with master’s degrees.

Contributing Church members receive priority consideration to admission to the Day School.
