As Episcopalians, we pray and give thanks to God for the world God created and entrusted to our care. We pray for those who are near and for those who are far.

Through relationships established by the National Association of Episcopal Schools, diocesan partnerships and connections made within the worldwide Anglican Communion, we serve God around the world.

"God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bods of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne." (BCP, p 815)

We respond to the suffering in our world by providing welcome and hospitality to a refugee family through our partnership with refugeeONE. We engage our world by serving along side our sisters and brothers in Christ in HaitiMexico and the Republic of South Sudan.

Whether for the immediate neighborhood, an Episcopal mission in Chicago’s Hispanic communities, or parishes in Haiti and Mexico, we have dedicated volunteers who do God’s work for the benefit of others. We see these opportunities as ways to engage more current parishioners and potential new members of our church in the service and fellowship that these activities offer.
