REOPENING GUIDELINES
The Diocese of Chicago issued New Reopening Guidelines on January 27, 2021. St. Chrysostom's has formed a committee to further explore the guidelines and formulate the next steps for safely reopening and resuming in person services. Currently, services will continue to be live streamed via the St. Chrys. YouTube Channel. If you would like to make an appointment to visit the church, please reach out to Shelly Banks (shelly@saintc.org) to schedule a time. We appreciate your patience and support as we work together to develop a safe plan for resuming in person services.

LENT SMALL GROUPS
Beginning Again with the Gospel of Mark
For this year’s Lenten small groups, we are going back to the foundational stories of our faith and discipleship. We will read and discuss the gospel of Mark, guided by The 50 Day Bible Challenge: A Journey with Mark. Each day’s reading is accompanied by a very short reflection, a prayer, and suggested questions. You can order it on paperback or on Kindle. It is the shortest gospel and is believed by most scholars to be the earliest one that was written down. In a time when so many things are shifting, this feels like the right time to revisit those touchstones to help us chart our course toward stronger ties with God, our church family, and our neighbors. Please register for one of the groups below through the zoom link provided. Once you register you will receive the meeting information. If you have trouble registering, or if these groups do not work for your schedule, email Rev Peggy (peggy@saintc.org) for a possible alternate date and time or call her at 312-944-1083 x216.

DAILY | PRAY the LORD'S PRAYER | 12 PM
Another way to mark the day is to stop and say the Lord’s Prayer at noon. The Pope called on Christians around the world to do this so that together we can “implore (God’s) mercy for a humanity so sorely tried by the coronavirus pandemic” and also pray for “the sick and their families, health workers and those who assist them, for authorities, police forces and volunteers, for the (religious) ministers of our communities." As a community, we can make this a part of our daily practice to join in across the world.
