Jim Fackenthal
Jim Fackenthal has served as carillonneur for St. Chrysostom’s Crane Memorial Carillon since 2015. After studying the carillon at the University of Rochester, he performed for several years on the two carillons at Indiana University. In 1993, Jim and his wife moved to Chicago where he became the Assistant/Associate Carillonneur at the University of Chicago’s Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Currently, he also plays the Millennium Carillon in Naperville. During the rest of the week, Jim is a professor of Biological Sciences at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ilinois.
